PARC COMING TO WARD 4

The School Board made a presentation on March 27th at Heritage Glen to discuss the issues of the over crowding at Ecole Forest Trail, which the Board is projecting over 50% increase in population by 2014.  Preliminary information and the power point presentation is availabe at the Halton District School Board's website here

Schools included in the process include Abbey Lane P.S., Captain R. Wilson P.S., Forest Trail P.S., Heritage Glen P.S., Pilgrim Wood P.S., West Oak P.S. and West Oak Trails #4 (new school opening in September 2008)

Also, on March 27, letters were sent home to parents of the Emily Carr Public School (West Oak Trails #4) regarding final school boundary decisions to locate all Englsh school children, JK-Grade 7 who are currently attending Abbey Lane Public School, Captain R. Wilson Public School and Pilgrim Wood Public School, effective Septembe 2008. Grade 8 will be added in September 2009.  All pertinent documents are availabe at the Halton District School Board's website .
